About The Cart Barn Self Catering Accommodation in Roshven, Ardnamurchan, Lochaber in West Highlands of Scotland.
The Cart Barn offers peace and tranquillity in
beautifully restored accommodation, set in 26 acres of landscaped and
wild grounds. This stunning renovation of a Victorian steading was
completed in 2009 as part of a small group of farm buildings which sit
between mountains and the sea, some 400 metres from the bay at Roshven
house. The very high standard of accommodation and finishes include oak
floors, terracotta tiling, plush carpeting, fabulous bedding and
furnishings throughout.

Other notables:
- The Cart Barn is on a private water supply which comes off the hill. The water passes through a filter and a UV steriliser to make it potable. However, the water is coloured by the local peat.
- Set in 26 acres of private grounds. Although the grounds around the Cart Barn are maintained, it sits in some of the most beautiful wild countryside on the west coast of Scotland

Terms & Conditions
Dogs:
Cost £25 per dog - maximum of 2 dogs.
Dog Rules:
They must be kept downstairs and not in the bedrooms.
Dogs are not allowed to be left in the property on their own.
While we sit in around 26 acres of our land in which guests are free to
wander, there are paths through and around it that are open to locals
& other visitors alike (although not close up to the property) and
that our paddock and lochan are also unfenced as is the burn alongside
the premises.
We respectfully ask all visitors to keep their pets under control and on a leash when within the inner garden area and not to leave them to wander. This could be both dangerous if they were to fall into the lochan (muddy bottom & extremely difficult to get out of) or get onto the road as the bridge isn't fenced off in any way.
Electric Cars:
A daily cost of £5 per vehicle for any electric or hybrid
car.
Small children must be
supervised whilst outside, as the garden features water areas.
Non-smokers only please
All prices include electricity.
All linen, pillows, duvets and towels are provided and the bedrooms made
up for your arrival.
The Cart Barn has Wi-Fi.
Bookings: the accommodation will be from 5pm on day of arrival - 10:00am on day of departure.
Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of
30% deposit and the balance of your holiday will be due 8 weeks before
the holiday date.
Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date - full payment
required.
Cancellation- If notice of Cancellation is
given not later than 8 Weeks before your Holiday Date, you will not
be liable to pay the outstanding balance, but you will lose your
Deposit, unless you book an alternative week.
However if you cancel your Holiday within 8 Weeks you will be liable to
pay the balance
unless we receive an alternative booking from elsewhere.

October - Another great week at The Cart Barn in Roshven. Got the
boat to Knoydart for lunch at The Old Forge as well as a day trip to
Skye and then on to Plockton. The Cart Barn is a great base for
exploring all of this beautiful area.
August - It has been such a treat to stay here-what a place! I loved the morning swims and how secluded it all feels.... It is like a little paradise.
June - Such a welcoming and comfortable place to stay which exceeded all expectations. From the thoughtful welcome package to the tasty fresh eggs, super equipped kitchen and detailed local walking guides... We were constantly impressed.
May - The property is fabulous and so well equipped, we have stayed in many self catering holiday cottages and this is the best!! We travelled to Skye by the ferry from Mallaig & we would recommend visiting the hide at Kylerhae to see seals & sea eagles. Return was by way of the turntable ferry and the breathtaking scenery.
April - Our third time in The Cart Barn was the best one so far. We've made some beautiful walks on the hills behind the house, spent time on the stunning coast and even got sunburned. After long days spent outside it is always such a joy to return to this beautiful house.
